Brilliant work from the wonderfully multi-talented staff at Oswaldtwistle School!
Gemma Cook describes the incredible task of setting up and completing training of staff to operate our very own Covid testing operation - all in a very short period of time.
"On Monday we found out we had to train to supervise, process and record COVID tests for anyone who wanted one at Oswaldtwistle School.
Several members of staff willing volunteered and quickly adapted to their new roles. Which included supervising the test was carried out correctly, processing the swabs in a lateral flow device and then uploading the results to the national Track and Trace database.
During Tuesday and Wednesday we have tested 14 staff and 2 pupils, with a few more to carry out tomorrow."
