A great day was had by all as Safari Phil visited school with a group of his animal friends. Students interacted with an iguana, tortoise, centipedes, giant snails, snakes and more! A number of students even braved holding a tarantula while others watched from a safe distance. Students learnt about the handling of different types of animals and why some animals need different conditions to live. Phil and our very own Larissa explained to students the different behaviours to look for with the animals, showed them how to hold and feed them along with answering all of the students questions.
